Our son Harrison loves social studies, and  in school they just discussed ancient Egypt. At night he told me all about the pharaohs, the pyramids and the mummification process, right when it was really time to turn off the lights and go go sleep. So on a recent Sunday we took him and his little sister to the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art to see their Ancient Egypt exhibition. The images below are all from this trip. I loved how the side-light illuminated these 5,000 year old artifacts.
